Katerina Dimitrakopoulou lecturing digital marketing strategy to NGO’s

Social Media and NGOs: this topic is always among our favorites! Two days, six full hours of best practices and practical tips and more than 50 passionate attendees from Greek NGOs; this is the brief summary of our tailor made, comprehensive seminar.

We had the pleasure to work together with Social Dynamo, the collaborative initiative between the Bodossaki Foundation and the City of Athens Municipality SynAthina team.

Social Dynamo offers learning opportunities, professional support and networking to NGOs and within this framework we presented a series of 2 topics:

Social Media Marketing Fundamentals for NGOs

On Monday, the 9th of July, people working in various positions within the NGOs sector, from marketing and communications to fundraising and management learned more about  Content, Social Networks and Engagement tactics. The exciting topics and best practices provides us with the unique opportunity to answer questions and clarify social media myths during the event.

Social Media Campaigns for NGOs

On Wednesday, the 11th of July, we had the opportunity to talk more about Digital Advertising, Fundraising and the strategic steps leading to a successful social media campaign. From setting the idea all the way through an efficient implementation, we presented real cases providing in-depth analysis. We also has the chance to give feedback regarding ideas that people attending the event are currently working on.

We would like to thank Social Dynamo for offering us the chance to meet great people and share inspiring ideas that can really make a difference.
