Some stories don’t just get told—they echo. And The Admiral Football Heritage is undoubtedly one of them.
We are proud to announce that our award-winning campaign, The Admiral Football Heritage, has received three major distinctions at the Sports Marketing Awards 2025—one of the most prestigious events in the field of sports marketing and brand storytelling. The campaign earned a Gold Award for Best Sports Documentary, along with two Bronze Awards in the categories of Best Sports Strategy for Branding and Best Native Advertising Campaign. These recognitions highlight how the campaign successfully combined strategic insight, emotional storytelling, and the legacy of a historic brand.
Celebrating Excellence in Sports Storytelling
Our objective was to spotlight the legacy of a brand that helped shape the visual identity of football as we know it today. Admiral was the first brand in football history to design two-tone kits, sell them to fans, and place its logo alongside the team badge.
In Greece, this legacy hadn’t been widely shared until now. Narrated by football legend Demis Nikolaidis, the five-episode mini-series brought Admiral’s 50-year journey to life. Through storytelling, native content, and cross-platform distribution, we introduced the brand to a new generation, sparking interest and admiration from fans across age groups.
For us at SCL Mellon, this recognition is not only an honour—it’s a celebration of the kind of storytelling we strive to deliver: work that is creatively ambitious, strategically sound, and resonant far beyond the screen.
This recognition adds to the campaign’s previous distinctions at both the Content Marketing Awards 2024 and the Influencer Marketing Awards 2025, where The Admiral Football Heritage stood out for its strategic depth, creative execution, and emotional resonance.
Many thanks to our collaborators:
