Digi Hotel, Greece’s leading digital event in the hospitality industry, took place at the Xenia ‘21 exhibition, from November 27 November 29, 2021.
As part of the event, SCL Mellon had the honor to present at the “Exposure, Promotion, New Services” session, with other top executives and digital marketing experts.
During her presentation titled “Bloggers & Influencers: Checklist for their evaluation” SCL Mellon founder Katerina Dimitrakopoulou highlighted the significant influence that businesses gain through influencer marketing, and explained current best practices and solutions.
Addressing the audience of over 100 hoteliers, owners, and other hotel executives from around Greece, Katerina’s goal was to help them understand the importance of using influencers to promote their hotel facilities in the best possible way, in order to enhance a hotel’s reputation, and generate value.
Among other things, she focused on the importance of influencer marketing as a modern digital marketing strategy, the most important influencer categories, and their advantages for the hotel industry.
Additionally, she explained which is the right way to find suitable influencers for hotels and other hospitality businesses. Finally, she summed up her arguments with real-life case studies.
