Social Mellon for health institutions: Make your Social Media presence remarkable

Social Mellon was invited by Sympraxis to participate at a webinar which was held on the 27th of May, addressing institutions in the field of health. Sympraxis team, supported by Novartis aimed to provide an online training on how organizations could effectively use technology and communication within a constantly changing world.

Katerina Dimitrakopoulou, Managing Partner of Social Mellon presented the part of the webinar which included social media best practices and was entitled: “Social media: make your presence remarkable”.

Social Mellon expertise in digital marketing for NGOs provided a comprehensive input, featuring best practices, case studies and useful tips upon the effective use of Social Media. Participants from the field of health had the opportunity to learn how technology and digital communication work for advocating their organizations. The presentation also included tips and stats on ways in which participants could effectively share their message so as to have a strong impact to the audience. The presentation ended with the quotation of Dave Willis: “Don’t use social media to impress people, use it to impact people”.

The audience which was comprised by health institutions, NGO communities and their family members, participated with great enthusiasm and interesting questions were raised live and answered.
